Island Flight Adventures

Island Flight Adventures is a premier water sports company on St. Croix operating continuously for the past five years - longer than any other jet ski/water sports company on the island. The Daily News Readers' Poll voted them the "Best Jet Ski, Activities and WaterSports" company in the USVI two years in a row. A family business owned and operated by Mark and Stella DeAmelia, they pride themselves on giving back to the community.
They've donated their time (and jet skis) for the past four years to the Positive Leadership of the Next Generation, Inc., an organization helping to educate and develop the youths on St. Croix. They also help monitor boat traffic during the annual fundraiser for the the Boys and Girls Club, their Royak Regatta at Chenay Beach Resort, and for the St. Croix Ironman Triathlon in Christiansted Harbor.
Mark and Stella were born in the New York Tri State area. Mark has always been a motor head and water sports enthusiast and has raced/driven motor cross, quads, snowmobiles, quarter mile stock cars, jet skis, boated, water/ snow tubing, water skied and wake boarded all his life. Stella has been right in the mix for all of this excitement along with their three children. Mark received his B.S. in Business Administration from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and his Masters in Business Administration from the State University of NY at Albany concentrating in Human Resources and Information Systems Administration. After graduating he went on to work for Merck & Co. Inc. for 17 years and ended up responsible for all of the Information Systems development for HR, Benefits, and Payroll. He took an early retirement to enjoy life on St. Croix and get back to what he really loved - thrills and people.
Mark coached youth baseball and football for 10 years in Washington, NJ while mentoring and raising his children with his wife Stella. Stella is an accomplished business entrepreneur herself having had her own cleaning business, "Neat and Tidy," in NJ for 17 years and, in fact, supported the family with her business while Mark was attending college. She now conducts the day-to-day management of the Island Flight Adventures store and water sports bookings. Customer satisfaction is very important and they will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable while having the most satisfying, safe, thrilling and fun experience.
